Where can I find my foreign tax identification number (tax ID / TIN)?
Most EU Member States use Tax Identification Numbers (Tax ID) to identify taxpayers and simplify the administration of your national tax obligations.
The tax number can be found on the following documents:
On your pre-filled French tax return, at the top left of the first page, together with the online access number.
On your French tax assessment notices (income tax, second home tax, property tax) in the top left-hand corner under the heading ‘Vos références’.
