Where can I find the cadastral reference or the registration number of the notarial deed in Luxembourg?

Cadastral reference

This is a unique identifier for a property in Luxembourg. You can find it:

In your notarial deed of purchase: usually within the property description, such as:
On your land tax assessment or a cadastral record from the Administration du Cadastre et de la Topographie (ACT).
Online, using the Luxembourg Geoportal (map.geoportail.lu) by searching for your address and enabling the "Cadastre" layer.

Notarial deed registration number

This number is issued by the Administration de l’Enregistrement, des Domaines et de la TVA (AED) upon registering the deed. It appears:

On the first or last page of the notarial deed, often labelled RE/EDT or similar.
Alternatively, you can obtain it by:
Contacting your notary, or
Requesting it from the AED office responsible for the property's location.

If you cannot find this information, simply leave the field blank.
