# What is the deadline for sending in my tax return?

###### Tax return 2025 :

You have until **__31 December 2026__** to submit your tax return or annual statement. 

**Important instructions:**
* Please ensure that your tax return is **actually received by your local tax office** before this date.
* **The postmark does not count**: any postal submission after 31 December 2026 will be considered late, even if the mail was sent beforehand.

* The address of your **local tax office** is shown **at the top left of your tax return** or can be consulted directly on **taxx.lu**.

It is no longer possible to submit them unless you are **obliged** to do so!
