# What document do I need to declare my salary?

This document is provided directly by your employer, usually in January or February. It details your income, social security contributions and taxes deducted at source, and is essential for completing your tax return correctly.

Only the **annual** salary certificate is accepted (not monthly payslips). If you have had several employers during the year, you will need to collect all the relevant certificates and add them one by one. If a certificate contains several documents, all of them must be taken into account.

If the annual salary certificate is not available (for example for a former employer or a completed internship), you can use the last payslip of the period as a substitute. However, without the annual salary certificate, the estimate may not be fully accurate.
