What data will be imported from my previous tax return?

When creating a new tax return, based on your previous year's tax return, the following data will be imported automatically for all members of your household and you no longer need to enter them manually:

• Name and surname
• Address
• Matricule
• File number
• Marital status

How do I copy data from a previous tax return?

When you click “Create a new tax return”, choose the option “Copy data from the [previous year] tax return” to copy your information automatically.

Conditions

• To copy your data, you must have completed the previous year’s tax return on taxx.lu. If your previous tax return was not done on taxx.lu, you will need to enter your information manually.
• Data can only be copied within the same account. If you create a new account, you cannot retrieve data from another account (for example, your spouse’s account).
• You do not need to buy the paid package again to reuse the data from a previous tax return.

Good to know

Some information (for example, the date you acquired a property) is deliberately not copied automatically, to help avoid errors. You will need to check it or enter it again.
